Tag Joe.
I help leaders look across the whole decision before they make it - what it costs, what it changes, what it requires, and what nobody has thought to ask yet.
Forty years of knowing where to look.
What gets missed
The cost after the quote.
The work after the implementation.
The contract detail nobody questioned.
The handoff nobody owns.
And the thing nobody thought to ask about.
When to Tag Joe
I have something I want to talk through.
A decision, cost, contract, process, relationship, change, or opportunity is in front of you and you want another experienced perspective before you move.
I want another set of eyes.
Something does not quite add up. You are not necessarily looking for a consultant. You just want someone experienced enough to know where to look.
I want Joe in my network.
Nothing may be urgent today. You simply want to know who to call when something important lands on your desk.
I think Joe should know what we do.
You have a company, product, service, or capability you believe Joe should know about and you want to start the relationship.
How I work
I have been on more than one side of the decision.
I have spent forty years watching what happens before the decision, during it, and long after everyone else has moved on.
That is why I tend to notice the extra cost, the operational wrinkle, the missing question, the person nobody brought into the conversation, or the assumption everyone thought someone else had checked.
I am not there to steer you toward my answer. I am there to help you see enough to make yours.
How it starts
You do not need a scope of work, a polished brief, or even a perfectly defined problem.
Tell me what is in front of you. I will listen, ask questions, and help you think through what you may not be seeing yet.
Sometimes that conversation is all you need. Sometimes it leads to more work. Sometimes I know exactly who you should talk to next.
No fee. No pitch. No commitment.
TAG JOE.Built in complexity
Financial services is where I learned to see the whole system at once - the customer, the people, the operation, the cost, the technology, the contract, the risk, and what happens after the decision is made.
The vocabulary changes by industry. The need to see the whole picture does not.
Nothing to sell
"I do not have a product or a predetermined answer waiting for you. I have questions, experience, and time."
Joe Tetstone
The idea
The experienced person you want in your network before you need him.
